Graphic Designer & Brand Assistant

Are you a creative with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for bringing brands to life? Spendless is on the lookout for a Graphic Designer to join our Brand team. This is your opportunity to work across some of Australia’s most recognised footwear brands, including Wildfire, Vybe, Everflex and Olympus.

As part of our dynamic brand team, you’ll focus on the design and execution of creative assets across digital, retail, and brand channels. From campaign rollouts and social assets to in-store and promotional materials, you’ll play a key role in ensuring all creative is on-brand, visually engaging, and delivered to a high standard.

About the role

This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes design, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working across a variety of projects. You’ll collaborate closely with the brand and teams to deliver campaign creative, while also supporting broader brand initiatives as needed. Expect a supportive, energetic environment where creativity is valued, ideas are encouraged, and your work has real impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build EDMs across all brands
• Create and maintain internal communications (including The Rundown)
• Adapt campaign and sale assets for paid media
• Develop event graphics and content overlays
• Design website assets (homepage banners, tiles, mega menus)
• Produce internal documents (team directories, policies, presentations, certificates)
• Create light in-store signage and shopping centre hoardings
• Assist with wholesale lookbooks and brand collateral
• Ad-hoc retouching/editing of eCommerce imagery
• Liaise with printers and external suppliers

Marketing & Brand Support

• Assist with shoot and event preparation
• Package influencer and PR parcels
• Support campaign reporting
• Manage the marketing inbox and respond to enquiries
• Update and maintain the marketing calendar
• General administration responsibilities including saving assets, file management, uploading promotional sales to centre portals, updating marketing contact databases

To be successful you will be

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva
• Highly organised with strong time management skills
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive mindset
• A team player who’s happy to jump in wherever needed
• A degree in Graphic Design (preferred but not essential)
• Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Store Managers’ primary role is leading and training of team members, striving for increased sales and wage control through the rotation of stock and delivering the high level of customer service experience. This will ensure that Spendless Shoes will continue to be the friendliest shoe people in the world!

       You will:

• Strive for the achievement of sales budgets and financial goals
• Provide training, coaching and empowering your team members
• Ensure delivery of legendary customer experiences
• Maintain company merchandising standards
• Deliver a seamless experience to our digital customers instore
• Lead your team with passion, according to our Spendless values 

Your attributes:

• Previous experience in a Retail/ Hospitality or Sales industry
• Leadership skills to mentor and develop your team 
• Stock management and merchandising experience 
• Understanding of sales budgets & KPI's
• Knowledge of rosters, wage control & people performance
• Effective communication skills with the ability to adapt
• Strong Customer service skills
• Thrive in a fun, fast-paced work environment
• Have the motivation to be successful 
• You're confident and passionate
• You have a passion for fashion footwear
