We are seeking a Business Solutions Lead to join our Spendless Information Technology Department, located in the National Support Centre performing a critical role within the company, in the provision of superior technology solutions to meet the needs of the broader business and alignment with the Spendless Systems Architecture.

 

The Role:

As the Business Solutions Lead you will be required to work across the organisation, covering both business as usual and requirements for new systems solutions, including but not limited to the Microsoft Dynamics ERP/POS, Manhattan SCALE Warehouse Management System, Magento e-commerce, Ceridian Dayforce solution and all related systems. Along with managing a team of Solution Architects and Technical specialists you will work alongside business analysts, developers and IT Service Delivery.

 

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Problem and Opportunity analysis
  • Solution Design and development
  • Solution testing and implementation
  • Solution evaluation and maintenance
  • Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements.
  • Analysing commercial data such as retail data including sales data, inventory etc and able to derive business cases and proposals demonstrating the return on investment
  • Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
  • Driving and maintaining the Enterprise Architecture
  • Estimating effort and duration required for delivering outcomes.
  • Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by the business in gaining their buy-in to the solutions proposed

 

Relevant Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline, or relevant industry experience.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement skills, able to deal with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
  • Critical thinking skills, able to understand and analyse problems and find solutions.
  • Problem solving, including the ability to think creatively and work collaboratively with teams to solve business challenges.
  • Good listener and communicator, enabling effective requirements gathering by asking the right questions and correctly understanding the information received.
  • Documentation and writing skills, able to document business cases, system and architecture diagrams, business requirements documents.
  • Confident presenter, able to present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and to manage stakeholder meetings.
