As the Retail Area Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of your region, including mentoring and leading your team to success, executing marketing campaigns and selling shoes!

The role:

• Drive Sales, GP & achievement of KPI goals across a region of up to 25 stores
• Lead a diverse team with highly tuned motivational skills 
• Ensure excellent communication to all stakeholders
• Manage high volumes of stock with strong merchandise/VM skills.
• Recruit, mentor and succession plan your people.
• Drive profitability through effective store & inventory management.
• Manage, support and mentor team performance.
• Travel to metro Melbourne and country locations
• Promote and live the 8 core Spendless values.

About you:

• Experience in multi-site leadership with strong motivational skills
• The ability to work autonomous, with respect and integrity 
• Empower others to strive in a strong sales team culture,
• Ability to work with a large team embracing diversity
• Is pro-active, energetic, and driven for success.
• Genuine hands on, lead by example leadership style.
• Has experience in exceeding sales and other KPI goals.
