People & Culture Coordinator

As we continue to strengthen our People & Culture function, we're looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused People & Culture Coordinator to join our Support Office team.

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you'll play a key role in delivering recruitment, People & Culture operations and Work Health & Safety administration across our national business. This is an exciting opportunity to broaden your HR experience while working within a growing People & Culture team that is transforming from a reactive support function into a strategic business partner.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment (50%)

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for award-covered positions across our RetailStore Network, Distribution Centre and Support Office.
• Advertise vacancies, screen applications and coordinate interviews.
• Complete reference checks and prepare employment offers and contracts.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and deliver a positive candidate experience.
• Maintain recruitment reporting and talent pools.

People & Culture Operations (30%)

• Prepare employment contracts, variations and People & Culture correspondence.
• Coordinate onboarding, induction, probation and employee lifecycle administration.
• Maintain employee records and HR systems.
• Respond to employee and manager enquiries.
• Support People & Culture projects, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives

Work Health & Safety, Injury Management & Compliance (20%)

• Coordinate workers' compensation and injury management administration.
• Maintain WHS and compliance registers.
• Monitor Return to Work documentation and Certificates of Capacity.
• Support incident reporting, compliance activities and regulatory requirements.

About You
You're organised, customer-focused and enjoy building relationships across all levels of an organisation. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent attention to detail and are looking to broaden your experience across the full employee lifecycle.

You'll also bring:

• Previous experience in Human Resources, Recruitment or People & Culture.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating recruitment activities.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• A professional approach with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Qualified Return to Work Coordinator accreditation (desirable but not essential).
• Experience using Microsoft Office and HR systems (Dayforce experience will be highly regarded).
• Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline (desirable but not essential).
